1. Basic class (Sept - April)
Each Thursday September to April. 7:30 p.m to 9:30 p.m at Pleasant Valley Social Centre
6100 Dumont Rd, Nanaimo
The basic steps and figures are taught as well as some easier dances.
Beginners preferably start in September but contact teacher Hazel MacDonald. 250-758-6224 or firstname.lastname@example.org about joining the class mid-season.
4. Technique class
This class, held about once a month during the regular season, is for experienced dancers who wish to improve their basic technique and work on improving covering, phrasing, comportment and other more advanced aspects of Scottish Country Dancing.

2. Social Class (Sept - April)
Each Tuesday September to April. 7:30 p.m to 9:30 p.m at Pleasant Valley Social Centre,
6100 Dumont Rd, Nanaimo.
Mainly social dancing with teaching of more advanced figures and dances. Dancers are expected to be familiar with the techniques and figures taught in the Basic class.

3. Social Class - Spring and Summer
For those of us who don't hang up our shoes in the summer we have one class for all dancers. Newer dancers who have at least one year's experience in the Basic class are encouraged to attend. This is mainly social dancing, but with the opportunity to learn some of the more advanced techniques, figures and dances.
Tuesdays at Wellington Hall, 3922 Corunna Ave, 7:30 to 9:30 pm. Teacher Debbie McClelland. $5.00 drop-in fee.
